This is the epitome of a Michelin star restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing, with 150 old doors from Italy to greet you as you enter and large paintings by local artists. We did the la carte menu to have a bit more control of what we eat, and each dish was incredible in its own way. The attention to detail with the unique dishware and the marriage of Japanese and Italian flavours was beyond amazing. There were many included surprises along the way. The cocktails were also delicious with deep flavour profiles. The staff were warm and attentive - George made each course an experience, and sprinkled so much information and history about the restaurant throughout the meal. We got to meet the chef, who really took the time to chat with us. Their kitchen appeared to be a calm well-oiled machine. They gave us a small token gift for my birthday that left me with the best memory to take home. Would absolutely recommend, and would love to return.
Hospitality and italian fine dining at his best! Foodies is a Must do. Chef Danielle Corona is creative and passionnate. Sommelier Jeoffrey is knowlegeable and also passionnate about wines. Jessica is very attentive on service ensuring that we feel taking care of. Decor,food and service and the vibe are top. Bravo! A la prochaine.
DaNico in Toronto was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious – a perfect blend of culinary excellence and creative presentation. My wife and I had a truly wonderful evening that we’ll fondly remember. Each course was thoughtfully composed, showcasing both skill and imagination. The wine pairing was equally impressive – exciting choices that complemented the dishes beautifully. The entire team was incredibly attentive, warm, and highly motivated. You could feel their passion in every detail. Everything was just right. A top-notch dining experience – highly recommended!

We celebrated a special occasion at DaNico and it did not disappoint! The tasting menu costed a pretty penny - 240 per person without wine pairing - but it was expected for a Michelin star experience. All the dishes were beautifully crafted and tasted fresh & unique. My favourite were the mackerel and then the venison. Be sure to check out the bathroom on the main floor - it was out of this world award winning.
Randomly chose this restaurant from the list of Michelin Star places in Toronto. It was phenomenal. We did the signature tasting menu and it did not disappoint. The food was well done. And the cod was the best cod I ever had in my life. Was so soft, moist and full of flavour. They had marinated it for 48 hrs before cooking. Was even more impressed with the friendliness of the staff. They were on top of things, polite and most importantly, efficient. At the end of the meal they gave us a tiny little box of macrons to take home which I thought was a lovely gesture. And for the price of only 240 a person on a Saturday night. WHAT A STEAL! We luckily got to meet the chef as well.

Amazing experience!!! We celebrated our ten year anniversary at DaNico last night. The service was absolutely amazing! The staff are so professional, kind, supportive, knowledgeable and friendly! Graham was our main server and he was absolutely incredible. The food was beyond. We got the tasting menu and it blew us away! Then at the end, the manager took us on a tour of the restaurant, we met the chef, and had some Limoncello in their wine cellar. Treat yourself to an amazing experience!
